Ingredients:
• 2 – lobsters
• 2 – big Onions
• 1″ piece – Ginger
• 4 flakes – Garlic
• 1 tsp – each of garam masala, ground Cumin seeds and Turmeric powder
• 2 – medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
• 50 g – tomatoes, blanched and sliced
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• salt and chilli powder to taste
Method:
- Boil lobsters in salted water, drain and cool and remove meat from the shells.
- Grind onion, ginger and garlic.
- Fry potatoes to a light golden colour.
- Also fry the lobster meat to a golden colour.
- Heat 4 tbsps. oil and add bay leaves and onion paste.
- Fry to a golden colour.
- Add salt and all the spices and tomatoes and fry till dry.
- Put in lobster meat and potatoes and mix well.
- Cover with water and cook till the potatoes are done and gravy is thick.
- Remove from fire and sprinkle garam masala on top.
- Pour 2 tbsps. of melted pure ghee and serve hot.
