Ingredients:

• 2 – lobsters
• 2 – big Onions
• 1″ piece – Ginger
• 4 flakes – Garlic
• 1 tsp – each of garam masala, ground Cumin seeds and Turmeric powder
• 2 – medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
• 50 g – tomatoes, blanched and sliced
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• salt and chilli powder to taste

Method:

  1. Boil lobsters in salted water, drain and cool and remove meat from the shells.
  2. Grind onion, ginger and garlic.
  3. Fry potatoes to a light golden colour.
  4. Also fry the lobster meat to a golden colour.
  5. Heat 4 tbsps. oil and add bay leaves and onion paste.
  6. Fry to a golden colour.
  7. Add salt and all the spices and tomatoes and fry till dry.
  8. Put in lobster meat and potatoes and mix well.
  9. Cover with water and cook till the potatoes are done and gravy is thick.
  10. Remove from fire and sprinkle garam masala on top.
  11. Pour 2 tbsps. of melted pure ghee and serve hot.
