Ingredients:

• Paneer kofta:
• 2 – Potatoes (cooked & mashed)
• 1 cup – Paneer (scrambled)
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Cornflour
• Salt
• Oil
• For curry:
• 1 cup – Green peas
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 cups – Tomato puree (store bought)
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 cup – Cream
• Oil
• Salt
• Chopped Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Paneer kofta:
  2. Take the mashed potatoes, scrambled paneer, garam masala powder, green chillies, corn flour and salt in a bowl.
  3. Fry the onions until they turn translucent.
  4. Add this to the potato-paneer mixture, make medium-sized balls.
  5. Heat oil in paniyaram pans, fry the koftas until the outer layer turns golden brown. Keep aside.
  6. For curry:
  7. Heat enough oil, fry the cumin seeds and bay leaves, add onions and garlic ginger paste and saute.
  8. Add the green peas, cook for few seconds. Then add the tomato puree, garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder, sugar, and salt.
  9. Cook on low flame for a few minutes.
  10. Add the cream to the gravy, cook on low flame until the oil separates from the gravy. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  11. When serving add the koftas to the gravy and serve with chapattis, rotis, naan, or ghee rice.
