Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Coconut Milk
• 1 cup – raw Rice/basmati Rice
• 1 – white Onion
• A small quantity – Ginger
• 3 flakes – Garlic
• 5 – Cashew nuts
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Chop onion and make ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Grind coconut and extract milk from it.
  3. Grind green chillies, cumin seeds and cashew nuts and make a paste.
  4. Heat ghee and oil in a pan/kadai and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, onion, garam masala powder, a little salt and then the coconut paste.
  5. Now add rice and mix well.
  6. Add 2 cups of water. Boil for some 20 minutes.
