Ingredients:

• 2 nos – Cloves
• 3 nos – Cardamom pods
• 1 – Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp – Fresh green tea leaves
• 1/4 cup – Cows Milk
• 1/2 cup – Water
• 5-6 leaves of tulsi(holy basil)
• 1/4 tsp – Dry Ginger powder
• 1 tbsp – Honey

Method:

  1. In a mortar, crush the cloves, tulsi, cardamom pods, cinnamon, basil and dry ginger or use a coffee grinder.
  2. Transfer the crushed spices to a small saucepan, add the water, ginger and pepper and bring to a boil.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the milk and sugar to the pan and bring to a boil.
