Ingredients:
• Fresh Palak – 1 bunch
• 2 – medium sized Potatoes
• 3-4 flakes – Garlic
• A small piece – Ginger
• 2 – large Onions
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• Red Chilli powder-1 tsp
• Coriander, Cumin seed powder -1 tsp each
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp.
Method:
- Wash and boil palak with the garlic flakes, ginger and chopped onions and green chillies.
- When cooked, cool and then blend in a mixer for a few seconds and keep aside.
- Boil the potatoes with salt and turmeric and keep aside.
- Take a little ghee in a pan and add half a tsp of cumin seeds and once it splutters add the palak and onion paste and let it boil for few minutes.
- Now add the boiled potatoes and a little garam masala or curry powder and coriander, cumin seed powder and also some water if needed and let it boil for few minutes more till the potatoes are cooked.
- Season with fresh cream if you like. Serve.
