Ingredients:

• Fresh Palak – 1 bunch
• 2 – medium sized Potatoes
• 3-4 flakes – Garlic
• A small piece – Ginger
• 2 – large Onions
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• Red Chilli powder-1 tsp
• Coriander, Cumin seed powder -1 tsp each
• Garam Masala – 1 tsp.

Method:

  1. Wash and boil palak with the garlic flakes, ginger and chopped onions and green chillies.
  2. When cooked, cool and then blend in a mixer for a few seconds and keep aside.
  3. Boil the potatoes with salt and turmeric and keep aside.
  4. Take a little ghee in a pan and add half a tsp of cumin seeds and once it splutters add the palak and onion paste and let it boil for few minutes.
  5. Now add the boiled potatoes and a little garam masala or curry powder and coriander, cumin seed powder and also some water if needed and let it boil for few minutes more till the potatoes are cooked.
  6. Season with fresh cream if you like. Serve.
