Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Meat
• 1 cup – Fenugreek greens
• 2 – onions, chopped finely
• 3 – tomatoes, pureed
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1/2 cup – Coconut paste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a suitable pan or pressure cooker and fry the onions well.
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute lightly.
  3. Add the tomato puree, chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and fry for some time.
  4. Add the meat and the greens and mix well.
  5. Continue frying for some time till the oil separates from the mixture and the greens shrivel up.
  6. Add salt, coconut paste and 2 cups of water and pressure cook till done.
