Ingredients:

• 1 kg – lamb
• 2 – Potatoes
• 1 cup – Green peas
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 – onions, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Vinegar
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped.

Method:

  1. Marinate the meat with salt and turmeric and keep aside for 10 mins.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan or a pressure cooker and saute the onions for a few mins.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger pastes and stir try for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the marinated meat, chopped tomatoes and all the other ingredients and saute for a while.
  5. Add sufficient water, cover and simmer till the meat is tender.
  6. Then add the potatoes and peas and simmer for 5 more mins or till the potatoes are cooked.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Serve.
