Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – boneless Meat (either Beef or mutton), cut into small bits
• 3 tbsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1 tsp – all spice powder
• 2 tbsp – chopped Garlic
• 1 tsp – chopped Ginger
• 2 tbsp – salt
• 1 cup – refined oil or sesame oil
• 2 cups – Vinegar

Method:

  1. Wash the meat well and leave it to dry.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Saute garlic and ginger for some time.
  3. Add the meat, chilli powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, spice powder, turmeric, vinegar, salt and mix well.
  4. Cook on low heat, till the meat is cooked and the gravy is almost dry.
  5. Remove from heat and cool.
  6. When completely cold, store in bottles and use when required (refrigerate).
