Ingredients:

• 1 lb – low fat minced Meat
• 1 cup – bread crumbs
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1 – Egg
• 1/4 tsp – Oregano
• 1/2 – tsp – pepper powder
• 1 cup – onion-garlic flavoured Tomato paste
• 1/2 cup – grated cheese.

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix all the ingredients, except cheese, and1/3 cup of tomato paste.
  3. Pat the mixture firmly into an 8X8 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake on the medium shelf for 25 mins.
  5. Take it out, spoon the rest of the paste on to it evenly, followed by an even layer of the cheese.
  6. Continue to bake on the top wrack for 5-6 mins and then serve.
  7. Can be used as a side dish as well as a spread.
