Ingredients:
• Methi seeds -1/2 cup
• Onions – 4 (Cut finely)
• Tomatoes – 3 (Cut finely)
• Jaggery – 1 tbsp
• Goda Masala (bedekar) – 1 tbsp
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Soak the methi seeds overnight.
- Next morning remove water and transfer the seeds to a muslin cloth.
- Cover with a vessel and hang to drain overnight.
- In a kadai, heat oil. Add hing and turmeric.
- Fry onions for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the methi seeds, masala, jaggery and salt.
- Cook for another 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Serve with roti.
