Ingredients:

• 50 g – French beans, cut diagonally
• 50 g – cauliflower, cut into strips or cubes
• 50 g – carrots, cut into long strips or cubes
• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 1 – onion, sliced
• 1/2 cup – fresh Cream
• 1 tbsp – plain flour (maida)
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 2 tbsp – Tomato ketchup
• 1 tbsp – Butter
• 1/4 tsp – chilli powder
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put the French beans, cauliflower, carrots and peas in a shallow dish. Sprinkle 5 to 6 tbsp of water and microwave on high for about 5 mins.
  2. Put the butter in a glass bowl and microwave on high for about 15 seconds.
  3. Add onions and microwave on high for 1.5 mins or until light pink in colour.
  4. Mix the cream, flour, milk, tomato ketchup and add to the onions.
  5. Add the vegetables, chilli powder, salt and microwave on high for 3 mins.
  6. Serve hot.
