Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Poha (thin variety)
• 1/2 to 3/4 cup – warm milk, depending on the consistency
• 5 – Almonds
• 4 – Walnuts or cashews
• 2 tsp – Sugar (or according to taste)
• a pinch – Cardamom
• a few strands saffron(optional)

Method:

  1. Wash poha in water and drain. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Powder the nuts. When poha becomes soft, add warm milk, sugar, cardamom, saffron and ground nuts.
  3. Mix well and serve.
