Ingredients:
• For momos:
• 1/2 tbsp – salt
• 2 cups – flour (maida)
• Water (enough to knead)
• 1/2 – (boiled, boneless) Chicken (for non veg)
• 1/2 – (grated) Cabbage (for veg)
• For chutney:
• 5-6 pieces – Red Chilli
• 5-6 pieces – Garlic
• Vinegar (enough to make it in liquid form)
• Pinch of baking powder
Method:
- Make dough out of flour (maida), baking powder and water keep overnight.
- Next day, take tennis ball sized dough and roll it like chapatti.
- Cut pieces from it and fill with boiled chicken/cabbage and a bit of salt to taste.
- Steam the momos till the stickiness goes away (about 10 mins).
- For chutney:
- In a mixer mix red chilli, vinegar and garlic together till it forms a paste.
- Serve hot momos with chutney.
