Ingredients:
• 1 kg chicken,
• 1.5 cups sweet oil,
• 1.5 cups vinegar,
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder,
• 4-6 green chillies,
• 1 bunch Coriander leaves
• To grind:
• 6-7 flakes garlic,
• 2 cm piece ginger,
• 6 cardamoms,
• 6-8 cloves,
• 8-10 peppercorns,
• 1/2 kg cashewnuts,
• 1/8 kg groundnuts,
• 1 tsp salt.
Method:
- Grind the ingredients and make a paste.
- Split green chillies lengthwise and chop coriander leaves.
- Take a large pan and mix the ground masala with the vinegar, salt, oil, turmeric, green chillies, coriander leaves and chicken pieces.
- Let the mixture marinate well for two hours.
- Then put the pan on a very slow fire and let it simmer until the meat is tender.
- Serve it with tandoori roti.
