Ingredients:

• Grated Carrot – 1 cup
• Grated Coconut – 1 cup
• Milk – 1/2 litre
• Sugar – 1.5 cups
• Broken Cashew nuts – 1/2 cup
• Ghee – 5 tbsp

Method:

  1. Fry the coconut and carrot separately without adding oil or ghee.
  2. Mix sugar with milk and heat it, stirring continuously, till the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the fried coconut and carrot and stir well.
  4. Simmer till thickens into a dough.
  5. After it comes rolling off the pan, add the broken cashew nuts.
  6. Smear ghee in a tray, transfer the mixture, and cut into pieces after it becomes cool.
