Ingredients:
• 6 – eggs
• 6 slices – bread
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Make a hole in the centre of each slice of bread.
- Butter the bread lightly on both sides.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and shake the pan so that the oil spreads.
- Place 2 slices of bread in the pan, and toast lightly.
- Turn the slices over and toast slightly.
- Break an egg in the hole in each of the slices of bread.
- Cook till the yolk gets firm.
- Turn over and fry for a few seconds if desired or leave it sunny side up.
- Season it with pepper and salt.
- Toast the other 4 slices of bread in this way.
- Serve with fried bacon and grilled tomatoes.
