Onion Masala Vada

Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Channa dhal
• 1 cup – finely chopped Onions
• Green chillies to your taste
• A handful of chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Hing
• 1 tbsp – Ginger and Garlic finely minced

Method:

  1. Soak channa dal exactly for 1 hour and drain it. Grind it without adding water. The mixture should be coarse.
  2. Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  3. Make small balls and flatten them.
  4. Heat oil and deep-fry the balls.
