Ingredients:

• 1 cup – besan
• 2 cups – palak, washed and chopped finely
• 1/2 tsp – ajwain
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• water
• salt
• oil
• For gravy:
• 1 -onion
• 1 -garlic
• 1- Ginger
• 1 tsp – Green chilli paste
• 10 – Cashew nuts
• 1 pinch -garam masala
• coriander
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• salt

Method:

  1. Knead besan, palak, ajwain, salt, oil and a little water.
  2. Make rolls and boil them in water for 10 min. Drain the water and keep it for the gravy.
  3. Cut the rolls into small rounds and fry them.
  4. For gravy:
  5. Take oil in the pan, add the paste and fry for 5 minutes.
  6. Add salt, sugar, tomatoes and fry again for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the water kept aside and then boil for 2 minutes.
  8. Add the fried besan rolls.
  9. Gravy should be thick.
  10. Garnish with fresh coriander and garam masala.
