Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Besan flour
• 1/4 cup – Rice four
• 2 – Green chillies (chopped)
• 1/4 cup – Onion (chopped)
• 1 cup – Frozen Spinach (thawed)
• 1pinch Asafoetida powder
• 2 tbsp – Hot Oil
• 1 tsp – Kasuri Methi
• 5 – Curry leaves
• Salt
• Oil for Deep Frying

Method:

  1. Heat oil for deep-frying.
  2. Meanwhile, mix besan flour, rice flour, chopped onion, green chilli, spinach, asafoetida powder, kasuri methi, curry leaves and salt with a little hot oil. Knead into a thick paste.
  3. Take a handful of the thick paste and drop gently into the oil and fry till it turns golden brown. Fry them in small batches. Drain the excess oil with paper towel.
  4. Serve hot.
