Ingredients:
• For filling:
• 1/2 cup – Paneer (grated)
• 1/4 cup – Roasted Peanuts
• 1/2 tsp – Roasted cumin powder
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Kasuri Methi leaves(crushed)
• For Pakoras:
• 4 – Wheat Bread slices
• 1/2 cup – Chickpeas/Besan flour
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt
• 2 tbsp – Yogurt
• Water
• 3 tbsp – Oil
Method:
- Take grated paneer, coarsely ground peanuts, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt and kasuri methi leaves in a bowl, mix everything well and keep aside.
- Take the besan flour red chilli powder, salt, yogurt in a bowl and add water gradually to form a thick paste.
- Cut the bread slices diagonally and spread prepared paneer-peanut filling and close it with another bread slice.
- Meanwhile, heat enough oil in a tawa, dip the stuffed bread slices into the prepared paste and drop gently on to the hot tawa. Fry both sides until they turn golden brown.
- Enjoy warm with ketchup or with the chutney of your choice.
