Ingredients:
• 200 g – Paneer cubes
• 2 – Onion (chopped)
• 1 tbsp – white khuskhus/poppy seeds
• 2 – cardamom/elaichi
• 1 tbsp – Ginger (chopped)
• 3 – Green chilli
• 1/2 tsp – red chilly powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1and1/2 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 cup – Green peas (cooked)
• 3/4 cup – thick Coconut Milk
• 1/4 cup – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Salt
• Water
Method:
- Heat oil in a wok and add cardamom seeds and poppy seeds.
- Add ginger and then onion. Saute until the onion slices turn transparent.
- Add green chillies, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and 2 cups of water.
- Allow to cool and grind this mixture to a fine paste.
- Put the mixture back to the wok and heat it along with coconut milk, cooked green peas, paneer cubes and salt on a low flame for about 10 mins.
- Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and remove from fire.
- If you want the dish to be more spicy, add some pepper.
