Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Paneer pieces
• 2 tbsp – Almond powder
• 1/2 cup- raw Rice
• 1/2 litre Milk + 2 tbsp of Milk
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• few strands of Saffron
• 1 tsp – Ghee
• few Pomegranate pieces
Method:
- Take a pressure cooker, add 1 tsp of ghee and roast the raw rice for few minutes.
- Add the milk and sugar, close the cooker with lid n pressure cook them up to 5 hisses.
- Keep aside and let them cool.
- Grind finely the paneer pieces and almond powder with 2 tbsp of milk into thick a paste.
- Open the pressure cooker and blend coarsely with hand blender.
- Add the thick grounded paste of paneer-almond, bring everything to boil.
- Add the cardamom powder and saffron strands.
- Keep aside and let them cool.
- Keep this in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Serve chilled, garnish them with pomegranate pieces.
