Ingredients:

• Pears – 500 gm
• Sugar – 3 tbsp
• fresh Orange juice – ½ cup
• plain cracker crumbs – ½ cup
• low fat margarine – 2 tbsp, melted
• Cinnamon powder – ½ tsp

Method:

  1. Peel, core and slice the pears.
  2. Place them in a baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Add orange juice.
  5. Bake in a mode oven (180 degrees centigrade) for about 15-20 minutes, till the pears are softened.
  6. Combine cracker crumbs with melted margarine and remaining splenda.
  7. Sprinkle over the pears.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and bake for 10 more minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
