Ingredients:
• 2 ½ cups Corn kernels
• 1 cup shelled Green peas
• 6 big Tomatoes
• 2 big Onions
• 2 cm piece Ginger
• 3 Cloves Garlic
• ¼ tsp. Turmeric powder
• ½ tsp. Garam Masala powder
• 2 tsp. chilli powder
• 1 ½ tbsp. Poppy Seeds
• ½ cup curds
• Salt to taste
• 4 tbsp. oil
• To garnish:
• Red Radish
Method:
- Blanch tomatoes, extract puree and keep aside. Chop onions. Beat the curds.
- Grind together ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and chilli powder. Grind poppy seeds separately.
- Heat oil. Add chopped onions and sauté. Add ground masala. Add corn and peas.
- Add salt and water. Cook till corn and peas are tender. Add ground poppy seeds and beaten curds.
- Mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes. Garnish and serve hot.
