Ingredients:

• 2 cups – green peas.
• 3 to 4 – medium onions, finely chopped.
• 2 tsp – oil.
• 1 tsp – chilli powder.
• A pinch – Turmeric powder.
• salt to taste.
• half a bunch – pudina or Mint leaves, finely chopped.

Method:

  1. Boil peas in a pressure cooker till it is cooked.
  2. Heat oil and add the peas. Fry the peas for a minute.
  3. Then add the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  4. Take it out of the pan.
  5. To serve: on a chapatti, spread a layer peas masala.
  6. Then add the finely chopped onions and mint leaves on top of that.
  7. Roll it up in the chapatti and enjoy.
  8. The onions and pudina combination is what gives it an unique and delicious taste.
  9. You may even add chopped tomatoes or a pinch of chaat masala to it.
