Ingredients:
• 1 cup – peas
• 2 tbsp – chopped Mango
• Salt to taste
• 1 – Red Chilli
• 1 tbsp – grated Coconut
• Curry leaves – a few
• Asafoetida – a pinch
• For Seasoning:
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
Method:
- Soak the dry peas in water overnight.
- Pressure cook the peas for 3 whistles
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add asafoetida, curry leaves, broken red chilli and then add the cooked peas, salt and mix well
- Finally add the grated coconut, chopped mango and mix.
- Serve hot.
