Ingredients:

• 1 cup – peas
• 2 tbsp – chopped Mango
• Salt to taste
• 1 – Red Chilli
• 1 tbsp – grated Coconut
• Curry leaves – a few
• Asafoetida – a pinch
• For Seasoning:
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds

Method:

  1. Soak the dry peas in water overnight.
  2. Pressure cook the peas for 3 whistles
  3. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  4. Add asafoetida, curry leaves, broken red chilli and then add the cooked peas, salt and mix well
  5. Finally add the grated coconut, chopped mango and mix.
  6. Serve hot.
