Ingredients:

• 1 cup – penne Pasta
• 3 – Tomatoes
• 1 – Onion
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 tsp – chilli flakes
• 1/2 tsp – Oregano powder
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – Olive oil
• 2 tsp – grated cheese.

Method:

  1. Cook the pasta in 4 cups of water in a wide pan by adding salt and a tsp of oil. When it becomes soft, drain the water and keep it under cold running water. Toss this with a tsp of oil and keep aside.
  2. Finely chop the onions, garlic and tomatoes.
  3. In a pan add oil add garlic and after few seconds add the onions.
  4. When it turns pink add the tomatoes and cook over a medium flame
  5. Add chilli flakes, oregano, salt, sugar and pepper powder.
  6. Cook over low flames till the tomatoes turn mushy and it becomes a thick sauce. Add the cooked pasta to this and mix well.
  7. Serve hot with grated cheese on the top.
