Ingredients:
• 250 gms – Paneer/Cottage Cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
• 2 – Bell peppers, cubed
• 4 sticks – Spring onions, chopped
• 2 – Green chillies, sliced
• 1 tsp – Peppercorns / Pepper powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger, finely chopped
• 4 – Garlic cloves, chopped
• 1 tsp – Corn starch/ Corn flour
• 3 tsp – Oil
• 1 – Tomato, diced
• 1 – Onion, sliced
• Salt as per taste
• Tomato sauce
• Soy sauce
Method:
- Add a pinch of salt to the corn flour and toss the paneer cubes in it.
- Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan, fry the paneer until it is golden brown on all sides. Transfer to another bowl.
- In the same pan add 1 more tsp of oil and fry the chillies and onion.
- Add garlic and ginger, fry until soft.
- Add bell peppers, fry for 1 minute, and add tomatoes and salt.
- Fry for another minute and finally add the paneer cubes.
- Add all the sauces and saute for some more time.
- Make a solution with 1 tsp corn flour and 90ml water.
- Add this to the paneer and let it thicken. Turn off the heat.
- Finally add freshly crushed peppercorns or pepper powder.
- Garnish with the spring onions.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
