Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Tomato puree.
• 1/2 cup – onions, finely chopped.
• 8-10 flakes garlic.
• 1/2 tbsp – sugar.
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli crushed.
• 1/4 tsp – omam (oregano) seeds.
• 1/4 tsp – Cinnamon Clove powder.
• 2 tbsp- Corn flour.
• 2 tbsp- butter.
• salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Heat butter. Add chopped onions.
  2. Stir-fry for 2-3 mins.
  3. Add tomato puree, bring to a boil.
  4. Pound together garlic, chilli powder, salt, clove-cinnamon powder.
  5. Add all ingredients except corn flour, simmer for 5 mins.
  6. Mix corn flour in 1/2 cup water to make smooth paste.
  7. Add to the boiling sauce, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  8. Stir and cook till thick enough to spread on pizza bread.
  9. Cool, stirring occasionally, to avoid surface from drying up.
