Ingredients:
• Potato, medium size – 2
• Poppy Seeds – 3 tbsp
• Panchpuran (a mixture of cumin, coriander, fennel, Fenugreek and Onion seeds) – 1/2 tsp
• Hot Chilli Pepper – 1, cut into small pieces
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Water – 1 cup
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, put panchpuran.
- When panchpuran starts spluttering put potatoes and poppy seeds, turmeric powder and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add water, salt, chilli pieces and cover the pan and allow it to cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Serve with rice and dal.
