Ingredients:

• 1 lb – Chicken breast cut into small pieces
• 2 – medium sized Onions
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 – small piece of Ginger
• 1 -stick of Cinnamon
• 6 – Cloves
• 1 pod – Cardamom (optional)
• 2 – Bay Leaves (optional)
• 1 tsp – paprika
• 1/2 cup – yogurt
• 2 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 1 – bell pepper chopped (optional)
• 1 tsp – black pepper
• 1 tbsp – ketchup
• 1 tsp – salt

Method:

  1. Chop onion, garlic and ginger root into small pieces.
  2. Mix all ingredients including the chicken in a large microwavable bowl and refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. Microwave on high for 10 mins. Remove container from the microwave and stir well and then put it in again for another 20 mins till done.
  4. Serve hot.
