Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Basmati Rice or any other Rice.
• 2 – bay leaves.
• 4 – cardamoms.
• 3 – cloves.
• 1 – small stick cinnamon.
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste.
• Salt to taste.
• 1/2 cup – ghee.

Method:

  1. Heat the ghee in a pan or rice cooker and fry the bay leaves, and spices for some time.
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
  3. Add the washed rice and stir fry for 3-4 mins.
  4. Add the salt and 4 cups of water and cook till the rice is done.
  5. Serve with mutton or pork curry and salad.
