Ingredients:

• 2 potatoes, 1/2 tsp- mustard seeds, 1 tsp- ural dal, 1 sprig-curry leaves, a handful- ground nuts, 2 red chilli, 1/2 tsp- garlic, salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Boil 2 large potatoes with salt and keep it aside.
  2. Heat 3 tsp of oil in a kadai, add mustard seed, ural dal and curry leaves. Add chopped potatoes and fry for nearly 7 mins.
  3. Meanwhile, grind groundnut with red chilli and garlic.
  4. Add the powder to the potatoes and fry for 2 mins. Serve with roti or rice and dal.
