Ingredients:

• 1 cup – bean sprouts.
• 1 – onion, finely chopped.
• 1 – tomato, finely chopped.
• 1 – small cucumber, finely chopped.
• 1/2 – dark seedless pomegranate, cleaned.
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, finely chopped.
• 1/2 cup – fine sev.
• 1/2 cup – bhel mixture farsan (optional).
• 2 – small chillies, deseeded, crushed (or as per taste).
• 1 tsp – dry red Garlic chutney.
• 1/2 tsp – cumin seeds, powdered.
• 1/2 tsp – sugar, powdered.
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice.
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Put bean sprouts in a large bowl.
  2. Add onion, tomato, cucumber and coriander.
  3. Add cumin, lemon, garlic chutney, chillies, sugar and salt.
  4. Toss well to blend all flavours.
  5. Just before serving, mix in pomegranate and farsan.
  6. Put into 3-4 individual serving bowls.
  7. Garnish with fine sev, coriander, pomegranate.
