Ingredients:

• 500 g – Pomfret
• 1.5 tsp – salt
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – red tandoori colour
• 1/4 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1/4 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 100 g – besan
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – Amchoor powder
• 1 tsp – ajwain
• Water – a little

Method:

  1. Marinate cleaned fish with turmeric and salt for 1/2 an hour.
  2. Grind all other ingredients into a paste and smear it on the fish and keep it for an hour.
  3. Deep fry the fish in hot oil to reddish brown colour. Sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon juice.
