Ingredients:

• 1 – medium Cauliflower
• 3 – medium Onions
• 3 – Cloves of Garlic
• 1/2 inch piece fresh Ginger
• 5 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 1 cup – peas
• 1/2 stick – Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 5 tbsp – plain yogurt
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• Oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Divide the cauliflower into florets and grate them in food processor.
  2. Warm 5 tbsp of oil, add cauliflower and saute for 10 min. Continue cooking for another 30 min.
  3. The cauliflower should be dark brown.
  4. Grate ginger and garlic and chop onions.
  5. Warm oil and add cinnamon and cumin. When spices darken, add grated ginger and garlic, then add onions and fry till brown.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, add salt, red chilli powder and tomato puree. Mix well and add yogurt.
  7. Cook for 2 min add peas and water.
  8. After boiling for few min, add cauliflower. Cook for 15 min and then mix garam masala.
  9. Serve hot with rice or puris.
