Ingredients:

• 3 cups – buttermilk
• 3/4 cup – besan
• 1 cup – water
• 1.5 cups – mixed vegetables (or okra)
• 1 tsp – Methi powder
• 1.5 pieces Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Dhania Jeera powder
• 1 bunch coriander or Cilantro (chopped)
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• salt

Method:

  1. Make a paste of besan and water. Add turmeric to buttermilk and cook on medium flame.
  2. Add the besan paste to the buttermilk and continue cooking until it boils.
  3. Cook the vegetables in a separate vessel.
  4. In yet another separate vessel, heat oil and add mustard seeds, methi, chillies, dhania jeera powder.
  5. Now mix this with the buttermilk.
  6. Mix the cooked vegetables to the buttermilk.
  7. Cook for some more time.
  8. Add salt and finally garnish with coriander.
