Ingredients:
• 2 cups – cooked Rice
• 1/2 tsp – crushed Red Chillies
• 2 to 3 – green chillies, chopped finely
• 2 tbsp – cornflour
• 2 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 1 tbsp – chopped greens of Spring onion
• 2 tbsp – grated cheese
• 1/2 cup – fine bread crumbs
• salt to taste
• oil to deep fry
Method:
- Mash cooked rice well. Warm it either in the cooker or microwave for ease before mashing.
- Add all other ingredients, except breadcrumbs and oil.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, while making balls from mixture.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs and let into hot oil.
- Deep fry few at a time, till golden and crisp.
- Serve hot with ketchup, chutney, etc.
