Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Coriander seeds
• 1/4 cup – Channa dal
• 2 tbsp – Urad Dal
• 1/4 cup – Red Quinoa
• 2 tbsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 cup – Peanuts
• 10 – Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Asafoetida powder
• 1 tbsp – Poppy Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt – to taste
Method:
- Dry roast the dals along with red chillies and keep aside.
- Now, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, quinoa, peanuts, poppy seeds and roast them until they turn golden brown.
- Add the asafoetida powder and turmeric powder and stir for few minutes.
- Grind as a coarse powder along with salt. Use this spice powder for making dry curries.
- Store in an air-tight box and refrigerate for long use.
