Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Rawa
• 1/4 cup – Wheat flour
• 1 tbsp – Chickpea flour
• 1/2 cup – fresh grated Coconut
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – yogurt
• 3 – green chillies, finely chopped.
• 2 sprigs – curry leaves, finely chopped
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup – water or as required
• Banana leaves (optional) – as needed

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. If the batter is a bit thick, add water and bring it to desired consistency.
  3. Heat a tawa. Spread the batter on a banana leaf and invert it on the tawa. (If you are not using banana leaf, spread the batter directly on the tawa)
  4. Cover the tawa lid and roast on medium heat.
  5. Smear oil on the pan cake and flip it.
  6. Now roast the other side of the pancake on the tawa.
  7. Serve hot with yogurt and pickle or any chutney of your choice.
