Ingredients:
• 4 Raw bananas boiled with skin till tender
• 1/2 cup boiled Chana dal or 1 boiled Potato (the choice is yours)
• 2 tbsp chopped coriander
• 2 Green chilli finely chopped
• 1 tbsp chopped Mint
• 1/2 tsp half crushed Coriander seeds
• 1/4 tsp half crushed Cumin seeds
• 2 half crushed Red Chilli (optional)
• 1 tsp fresh Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp Lemon juice
• Oil for shallow frying
Method:
- Peel the bananas and put in a food processor.
- Add dal or potato and all the spices, lemon juice and greens.
- Process for 2 min or until you get a kebab texture.
- Bring out in a bowl .
- Heat oil in a fry pan, take some mashed banana mix and make shami kebab size tikkies.
- Fry in hot oil until both sides are golden.
- Remove from oil and serve with your choice of chutney and thin roti.
