Ingredients:

• 1/4 kg – Raw Jackfruit either fresh or canned
• 3 – Onions (big)
• 3 tbsps – Dhania
• 3 tbsps – Jeera
• A small piece of Ginger
• 5 pods – Garlic
• 1/2 Cup – Coconut (dry or fresh)
• 2- Red Chillies
• 1 inch piece – Patta
• 4 – Lavang
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala

Method:

  1. Cut jackfruit into medium pieces and boil it till soft.
  2. Chop onions finely and fry till golden brown.
  3. Take ingredients from 3 to 8 and fry in a tsp of oil and grind to a powder.
  4. Add jackfruit, turmeric, salt and the above powder to the onions.
  5. Add 2-3 tbsp of water.
  6. Let it cook for 5-10 minutes in a very low flame.
  7. Add a spoon of garam masala and season it with patta and lavang.
