Ingredients:

• 2 medium sized – raw plantains
• 1 medium-size – Potato
• 2 to 3 – Green chillies
• 1 small piece – Ginger
• 10 to 12 – Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• 1/2 cup – bread crumbs
• oil for frying
• Sugar to taste
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind together the chillies, ginger and curry laves. Keep side.
  2. Boil plantains and potato after you peel them. Then mash them.
  3. Add ground paste, lemon juice and salt. Mix and prepare flat pattis.
  4. Roll in the breadcrumbs and deep fry it until it is golden in colour.
