Ingredients:

• Coconut – 1/2 (Grated fresh)
• Red Chillies – 3-4
• Ginger – 1/2 inch
• Onion – 1
• Tamarind – A little
• Curry leaves
• Mustard
• Oil
• Red Chilly – 1
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind coconut, red chillies, ginger, onion and tamarind to a fine paste.
  2. Heat oil and add curry leaves, mustard, and one red chilly.
  3. Add this to the chutney mixture.
  4. Add salt and mix well.
  5. This chutney can be served with idlis and hot dosas.
