Ingredients:

• 1 kg – raw Rice
• 1 kg – Sugar
• 500 grams – raisins, minced finely
• 5 litres – boiling water
• 1/2 tsp – Yeast granules

Method:

  1. Place the rice, sugar and raisins in a large vessel.
  2. Pour 5 litres of boiling water over them.
  3. Cover and let it remain lukewarm.
  4. Stir in the yeast.
  5. Leave for 3 weeks stirring every day.
  6. When the bubbles of fermentation stop, strain the wine and leave for a month before using.
