Ingredients:

• 2 cups – ridge gourd, peeled and cubed
• 1/2 – onion, chopped fine
• 1/2 cup – tomato, finely chopped
• 2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tbsp – cumin powder
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Coriander – for garnishing
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Salt – to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and temper cumin seeds.
  2. Add onion, saute for a few minutes, then add tomato.
  3. Add all the spice powder and ridge gourd.
  4. Add a little water and cook till it reaches desired consistency.
