Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Butter
• 1 tbsp – Strawberry or mixed fruit jam
• A few threads of Saffron

Method:

  1. Chill the jam till quite firm.
  2. Soak the saffron threads in few drops water.
  3. Beat the butter till soft.
  4. Fold in the saffron and jam.
  5. Do not mix vigorously.
  6. The jam should just show like ripples in the butter.
  7. Serve in a transparent bowl for better effect.
  8. Serve with crisp canapes, waffles, etc.
