Ingredients:

• For the dough:
• 3 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• For the stuffing:
• 1.5 cup -Sattu
• 4 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – Amchur powder
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• Ajwain – 2 tsps
• Red Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Dhania and Jeera powders- 1 tsp each
• Mustard – 1 tsp
• Saunf – 1tsp
• salt – to taste.

Method:

  1. Knead all the ingredients into a soft dough for the covering.
  2. Mix all the ingredients with the sattu flour for the stuffing.
  3. Roll out the ball of dough into a 3-4 inch diameter puris.
  4. Place some of the mix in the centre and close the puri to form a ball.
  5. Roll it out into a parantha.
  6. Shallow fry in ghee, on both sides, and serve hot.
