Ingredients:

• Rice 2 cups (cooked or leftover)
• 4-5 Red Chillies
• 1 inch Ginger chopped
• Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
• Onion – 1
• Tomato – 1
• 2-3 Green chillies
• Oil 2 tsp
• Asafoetida
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves or Coriander leaves to garnish
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Chop onion, tomato and green chillies. Cut chillies and ginger into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in pan and add mustard and asafoetida.
  3. Add chopped onions, green chillies and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes and fry. Add turmeric powder, prepared rice and mix evenly.
  5. Add salt to taste and garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Serve with pickle or curd.
