Ingredients:

• 100 gms – Milk khoya
• 20 gms – flour (maida)
• 20 gms – semolina
• 200 ml – Milk
• 5 gms – Fennel seeds
• Ghee to fry
• 500 gms – Sugar
• 2 cups – water
• 2 tbsp – dry fruits
• 400 gms – Maida for the roll

Method:

  1. Mix the khoya, flour, semolina, milk and fennel seeds and make a smooth batter.
  2. In a pan, heat ghee and fry the malpuwas. Make a syrup with the sugar and water.
  3. Dip the fried malpuwas in the sugar syrup.
  4. Move it to a tray and garnish with dry fruits.
  5. To make the roll, make a dough of maida and flour and add some melted ghee and make a hard dough. Make small balls and with a rolling pin make small puris.
  6. Roll the malpuwas and put in on top of the puris.
  7. Roll the sides of the puris and fold in the shape of a toffee.
  8. Then fry them in a pan on low heat and serve piping hot.
